Some examples from the summer of 2020

You need periods of broadening your writing topics to keep you sharp and to stimulate your creativity. That was one of my goals in the summer of 2020. The result was a sort of potpourri of new topics that I had wanted to write, old topics or writings that I wanted to improve or merge, and some random ideas that emerged over the summer that needed to get on paper.

Up & In is my base publication my Medium writings into coherent categories that provides straightforward advice that keeps you on your toes. Yes, similar to a brushback pitch in baseball — the source of the site’s name. I am also reminded that Up & In is synonymous with the lift and tuck associated with a woman’s bra and also with a form of stock option in the business world. That is even better because you will likely find sports/adventure, social commentary, and business tips at Up & In.

Back to the summer of 2020 and diversifying your writing topics. Here are examples of some of my writings in publications in addition to Up & In.

You Can Do This Too! in Management Matters

What Do Lies, Personalities, Kinky Sex, and Wonder Woman Have In Common? in Sensual Enchantment

City Mobs: Panderers Of Vice And Instruments To Overturn Our Liberties in Dialogue and Discourse

Use These Colors to Convince the Decision Maker in The Innovation

Simplify Asset Management for Better Results in The Sixth Sense

The Most Powerful Thing that Improves Spreadsheet Forecasting in Towards Data Science

Possibilities and Probabilities: Forecasting Your Future Financial Needs in the post-COVID19 Recession in The Innovation

I’ll focus on different writing styles this winter. Between now and then, I’ll work on several focused pieces and a little less on broad topics or different techniques. After all, I am not writing for the masses. Happy writing to you!
